By accessing or using the Caloryze mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Caloryze provides an AI-powered food recognition and calorie tracking application. The Service allows users to:

  • Capture photos of food
  • Receive nutritional estimates
  • Log dietary intake
  • Track progress towards goals

To use certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account.

Promptly notify us if you discover or suspect any security breaches related to your account.

Our Service allows you to upload food photos and other data (“User Content”). You retain all rights in your User Content.

By uploading User Content, you grant Caloryze a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and analyze your content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

Illegal PurposeUsing the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
InterferenceInterfering with or damaging the operation of the Service or any user's enjoyment of it.
Security BypassAttempting to bypass any security measures or authentication systems of the Service.
Reverse EngineeringReverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to discover the source code of the Service.

6. Not Medical Advice

THE SERVICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT.

The nutritional estimates provided by our AI are approximations and may not be accurate. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or dietary changes.

Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read or received through the Service.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription. All payments are processed through third-party app stores (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Your purchase is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective app store.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CALORYZE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Caloryze shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
